MediaWiki has been installed.
The default main page was keen on mentioning this, in case you were unable to deduce this from the fact that you were reading this in a wiki, presumably because you were having a stroke.
Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.
Create new pages here
(Or if you search for a page that doesn't exist, you can create it from the resulting page)
The state of the Wiki
As you probably noticed, we were forced to relocate from our previous home at wikispaces due to space pirate attack. Who would have thought? Hopefully Wikimedia will be more resilient.
What was transferred
- All the articles, except the old Home Page. For the most part they were imported faithfully, typos and all.
- All the comments on the articles. They're in the relevant Discussion pages, including signatures and timestamps.
- All the files that we uploaded in the past, except the Starlight Simulator files.
- Tags, except they're now in the form of Categories. They function very similarly, however. A few of the names have been tweaked to fit in better as Categories.
- Permissions have been set up. No one without an account can read the wiki, nor make an account.
What wasn't transferred
- The editing history on our articles. We'll have to live without it.
- The old Home Page.
- The Starlight Simulator files.
- It's possible that here and there some line break will be gone or an article will be missing its categories. I tried to avoid that but it's possible. Make corrections as desired.
Features that don't work yet and probably should
- What You See Is What You Get editor - still need to install that extension. For now it's just wiki markup, but with a few buttons to help make it a bit easier.
